Dear colleagues,
We are about to embark on a larger Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy and would appreciate your feedback on the relative importance you believe our customers (and potential customers) place on CSR.
By way of background, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development defines CSR as “the commitment of business to contribute to sustainable economic development, working with employees, their families, the local community and society at large to improve their quality of life.” gategroup’s CSR strategy focus on Workplace, Marketplace, Environment, and Community. Other companies may focus on different aspects, but generally the pillars we have chosen reflect what most companies with a CSR program are focusing on, though they may call it different things.
