You are invited to participate in a web-based online survey on Digital and Media Literacy and Economic Mobility in Charlotte, NC. This is a research project being conducted by Carl Arrington, Jr., a student at California Intercontinental University. It should take approximately 25 minutes to complete.
PARTICIPATION
Your participation in this survey is voluntary. You may refuse to take part in the research or exit the survey at any time without penalty. You are free to decline to answer any particular question you do not wish to answer for any reason.
BENEFITS
You will receive no direct benefits from participating in this research study. However, your responses may help the researcher learn more about yields important information regarding the origins of problems within the target population, particularly in terms of the perceived barriers in economic mobility and Digital Literacy, as well as investigates the impact of Digital Literacy on the economic status of citizens in Charlotte, NC. Further, this study would be beneficial to citizens, policy makers, businesses, researchers, and other interested entities in Charlotte to enhance and stimulate knowledge of other factors that will improve Digital Literacy and economic mobility for the city of Charlotte, NC.
RISKS
There are no foreseeable physical risks involved in participating in this study other than those encountered in day-to-day life.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Your survey answers will be sent to a link to a Questionpro.com form where data will be stored in a password protected electronic format. Questionpro.com does not collect identifying information such as your name, email address, or IP address. Therefore, your responses will remain anonymous. No one will be able to identify you or your answers, and no one will know whether or not you participated in the study.
