In the process of writing a journal article, we are attempting to gather responses from both producers and consumers of fiscal impact analyses to answer several key questions. First, are there any standardized methods used to conduct a fiscal impact assessment? Second, are there any elements that consumers would like to have included in the report that producers are not providing? Finally, we would like to know how fiscal impact assessments can be improved in the future through new methods and procedures.
