HQ NATO, at the request of a number of the NATO Nations, has tasked the NATO Joint Analysis & Lessons Learned Centre (JALLC) to assist with a study to examine the impact of the contributing nations' and ISAF on the Afghan economy. In particular the study seeks to identify positive examples, and the challenges faced, regarding in-theatre procurement and local hiring.
