Thank you for your interest in KID'S NIGHT IN! While you attend Haycock's Silent Auction, we will engage your child in fun and safe activities.
Hours: 6:45PM - 10:15PM
Location: Haycock Cafeteria
Cost: $20 for 1st child; $10 for additional sibling
Who are we?
We are Girl Scout Troop 20, consisting of 9th and 10th graders from 4 area high schools (McLean, Langley, Marshall, and TJ). Many of us are former Haycock and Longfellow students. We are led by Elia Femia, who is also a Haycock parent of a 1st grader. We will have enough of us to have a 5 to 1 or 4 to 1 ratio of teens to children. There will be at 2-4 adults who will help oversee the event.
What will we do at Kids' Night In?
We will engage your child in fun and safe activities, including classic games, movies (if possible), arts & crafts, and other fun and safe activities. Kids will have the choice of what to do. They are welcome to bring or wear their Pajamas and a blanket or stuffed animal.
Will dinner or other food be provided?
We will NOT be providing dinner. We will be providing nut-free snacks and water. If your child has a food allergy, you are welcome to bring your own snacks for him.
What if your child has a special need?
Please let us know if your child has a special need. We will do our best to accommodate him or her. If your child needs to take a special medication, we will have an adult first-aider who can help administer the medication.
Can I walk in and register on the day?
No, we cannot take day-of registration.
Do we offer refunds if your child can't make it?
We are very sorry, but we cannot issue refunds.
What if we have to cancel the event?
If we have to cancel the event because of low registration, we will refund your money 100%.
