The graduate students of the University of Maine School of Social Work Robin Nicolai, Elizabeth Day, and Jesse Call, invite you to participate in a research project regarding the reaccreditation of the UM School of Social Work under the supervision of director Gail Werrbach.  The University of Maine School of Social Work has developed a multifaceted Outcome Study designed to provide feedback on how well we are meeting our program outcomes and fulfilling our educational mission to prepare social work practitioners for the profession of social work. Feedback from agency staff and employers who have worked with, supervised, and/or hired graduates of our BSW and MSW programs is a very important component of our programs. You and your agency have been identified as a current and/or pat employer and/or supervisor of a recent graduate of the UM School of Social Work. We would very much appreciate your response to this brief survey. Survey results will be confidential and help us to identify ways in which we can better prepare social workers. Your responses to this survey will be combined with the responses of other employers from similar types of agencies. Your name and the name of the employees will not be identifiable in any way. We anticipate that the time required to take this survey will be approximately 20-30 minutes. If you would like a brief summary of the results of this survey, please contact Elizabeth Day via e-mail ([email protected]) or phone (207-540-3785). Please fill out the survey that we have sent you and return it via the preaddressed and stamped return envelope that is included.
