Parent & Toddler Groups

Do you attend any parent and child groups? If so, could you describe the kind of groups they are and how you found out about them?

Which days are best for you to come to groups and how often do you think is practical to go to groups?

Why do you choose to go to groups?

Do you like paying on the door or would you be interested in paying for half a term up front, which would include a discount?

I will be running local groups for children from around 18 months - 3 years with varied activities to help develop movement, co-ordination, language and independence. Each 60 minute group will cost about £5 and include around 20 minutes each of: active play with toys, singing, movement games or arts and crafts for the children. Does this gentle introduction to structured play and learning sound interesting to you and would you attend the group if you saw it advertised locally?

This will be a happy, active and social environment, along Montessori lines, that will encourage every child's confidence and independence, in preparation for nursery and school. Have you heard of Montessori education and would this make any difference to your interest in the groups?

Would you like to buy new and second hand books or exchange clothes and good-as-new toys?
