The annual Powered by EF reception is a recognition reception for companies in the Entrepreneurs’ Foundation of SVCF and Silicon Valley Community Foundation networks. Each year, we bring together leaders in the corporate citizenship community to celebrate the successes of the past year. This year, we will be honoring five companies for their impactful programs and we invite you to submit award nominations for your company or your peers, to recognize quality community programming being operated within our network.
Our award categories for 2013 are:
Company of the Year: Given to a company that, through its activities and partnerships during the previous calendar year, clearly demonstrates its commitment to corporate citizenship programs as part of their core business values.
Community Champion of the Year: Given to a company whose employees have donated their time, resources and professional expertise to causes that are important to them.
CEO of the Year: Given to a CEO that demonstrates superior commitment to their corporate citizenship program.
Global Citizen Award: Given to a globally-focused company which has provided extensive and impactful support to causes outside of the United States.
Impact Award: Given to a company that has maintained a strong community program for a period of three years or longer and continues to develop and grow the program to a more meaningful level.
