Many people who work in the field of Psychology work in the area of human services. Human service workers occupy a range of positions, including social service worker, mental health aide, psychologist practitioner assistant, and gerentology aide.

Human services sounds like an area I would be interested in.

Psychologist practitioner assistants perform tasks such as administering and scoring tests, and conducting intake assessments.

Becoming a psychologist practitioner assistant is something that I would be interested in.

Patient advocacy involves working with psychologists, parents, and schools to implement plans to help both mentally challenged and behaviorally disordered children.

Gerentology aides specialize in working with older adults and provide services to clients. They develop programs such as health promotion, senior theater groups, and intergenerational activieis for older people in senior centers, community agencies, and retirement communities. Generentology aides also provide direct care to older adults in hospitals, clinics, and home care programs.

Gerentology is something that I would be interested in.
