Reefer Platform

Kerry Adco Logistics, an office that is part of the Kerry Logistics group, has seen that although based in Rotterdam they are able to arrange better/lower rates for reefer transportations than they do at other Kerry offices. This is why Kerry Adco logistics suggested to the Kerry headquarters in Hong Kong to set up a “reefer platform” in Rotterdam. This reefer platform means that Kerry Adco Logistics collects all the reefer container rates for different shipping routes with carriers and will keep an up to date database containing those reefer rates. This reefer platform can than be used by other offices within the Kerry organization to obtain reefer rates for their reefer cargo shipments. This way the Kerry Logistics organization is able to offer their clients lower rates by using the reefer expertise of Kerry Adco logistics.
