The SMO team at Redcliffe has tried to refresh the teaching over the last year with a different approach. Various modalities have been employed, topics have been updated and we have encouraged you guys to be involved in planning the teaching for the session.

From February I will be taking over from Jason in coordinating the registrar teaching. I am keen to get your feedback, whether you'll be with us next year or not. I want to know what you liked and what you didn't like... both in terms of subject matter and delivery methods. Also, are there any additional topics you'd like to see? I appreciate you are probably only rostered on for about 1 in 3 teaching sessions (although you're of course invited to all the others!) so there may be topics you missed that you'd really like the opportunity to learn about.

This will only take 5 minutes. Please be brutally honest. It is anonymous and we can't improve if we don't get honest feedback!

Saul.

For each teaching session, a theme will be identified and a single consultant facilitator will be allocated in advance. In terms of planning the delivery of the session, how much involvement would you be comfortable with?

Minimal - I just want to be handed a specific talk to prepare

Maximal - I want to come up with my own ideas and help plan the session with the consultant

In-between - I want to be allocated a topic within the theme but have some flexibility about the delivery and specific content

Any other comments? In particular, do you have any suggestions for how we can improve the teaching?
