EXECUTIVE
 

GENERAL MANAGER

Position Summary:
Serves as the top executive and management official of the organization, reporting to the Board of Directors. Maintains final responsibility for all business operations, technical services, financial reporting and personnel management. Represents the organization on water policy matters and provides support to water rights issues and other related legal matters.


Typical Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, law, management or related technical field and significant exerience in managing large, long-term projects (10+ yrs in scope). Advanced degree highly desirable. Possess strong working knowledge of water policy issues, administration, budgeting, project financing, contract negotiation/administration and supervision. Ability to work with multiple public agencies and interest groups.

DEPUTY MANAGER

Position Summary:
Reports to the organization's top executive, or in his/her absence, reports to the Board of Directors. Directs and coordinates a broad range of activities, functions and special projects to ensure effective operations and achievement of organization goals and objectives in accordance with policies. Assists in developing and carrying out the organization's strategic plan.


Typical Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, law, management or related technical field and significant exerience in managing large, long-term projects (10+ yrs in scope). Advanced degree highly desirable. Possess strong working knowledge of water policy issues, administration, budgeting, project financing, contract negotiation/administration and supervision.
