CDN

The Central Data Network (CDN) is the central portion of StateNet that supports access to shared central data resources including:

- SAGEMS
- The Internet and Regional Broadband
- Various gateways (e.g. Foreign Networks, Remote Access, DMZa, Role Based DMZ’s)
- Central computing resources (e.g. Mainframe)
- Central DNS services
- Proxy caching service

Voice Services

Central Voice network (CVN) provides communication solutions for agencies across the state government network.

Activities include:

- Network design and development
- Telecommunications advice and consultancy services
- Telecommunications moves and changes and faults’ service desk
- Voice network connectivity and management

Hosting Services

Hosting Services manages the provision of secure and controlled environments for the accommodation of government ICT infrastructure.

Hosting Services applies best practice management disciplines to ensure that customers benefit from a consistently available and stable hosting environment.

SAGEMS

SAGEMS is the whole of government electronic messaging service.

The service includes fax, SMS services and connectivity to mailboxes via the internet and mobile devices.

Transmission Services

Service Delivery Transmission Services provides a range of data transfer products to agencies over SA Government owned infrastructure or via recharged carrier services.
