Greetings participants, thank you all for taking time off to participate in this study! Before you begin, my team and I will have to brief you about this study.

We are a group of Year 2 students from Diploma in Psychology Studies and we are conducting this research for our Applied Psychology Research Project A module. In this study, we are investigating the relations between family harmony and your opinions and attitudes towards elderly in general.
You are required to answer a four part questionnaire that will require some demographic information, evaluating your family harmony, opinions and attitudes towards the elderly in your family and elderly in general. We require your honest opinions about the ageing population in Singapore.

We will guarantee your confidentiality and security for your responses to this questionnaire. Your responses and data will be compiled and be distributed to members of my team and my supervisor for research purposes. In the questionnaire you will be taking, you will not be required to identify yourself or provide personal information except your age, hence making sure that you stay anonymous. Three years after the research is over, we will delete all data and information related to the research to ensure security.
