To whom it may concern;

We, Green Technology Center (GTC) are a climate technology policy research center affiliated by Ministry of Science, ICT and
Future Planning of Republic of Korea (hereinafter referred to as 'Korea'). We offers technical support services as a part of UNFCCC
technical mechanism cooperation process as it plays a role of CTN (Climate Technology Network); For this, we conducts a survey
as follows to recognize the climate technology needs of your country and to enhance climate technology cooperation with Korea.
Please response to this survey as it will be used as valuable resource in prioritizing climate technology needs.

The purpose of this survey is to gather your opinion regarding the climate technology. Please answer the followings in terms of your country’s status in ‘climate technology’(as defined below by UNFCCC).

[Definition of Climate Technology]

Technologies that we use to address climate change are known as climate technologies. Climate technologies that help us reduce greenhouse gas emissions include renewable energies such as wind energy solar power and hydropower.
To adapt to the adverse effects of climate change we use climate technologies such as drought-resistant crops early warning systems and sea walls. There are also ‘soft’ climate technologies such as energy-efficient practices or training for using equipment.

※ This part asks if the priority technologies described in TNA(Technical Needs Assessment) is appropriate, considering recent status of your country.

※ TNA is a report containing survey results and analysis in order to prioritise climate technologies for each country. Each country has its own working group to support publishing TNA; Climate technologies are listed up and each technology is assessed considering economic, social, environmental, potential for greenhouse gas (GHGs) reduction, and the technology with highest priority is selected using MCA analysis (MCA: Multi Criteria Analysis).

The above list is climate technologies for mitigation and adaptation described in your country’s TNA. Do you think they were reasonable choices, considering recent status of your country?

Yes

No

If you selected 'No', what technology do you think should be excluded first from the list above?

National development strategy or policy is changed
