UVic Figure Skating Club Survey

Hello Skaters!

This year we will be doing a fundraiser for the club on Saturday, December 21st at 9pm.

"UNIVERSITY OF VICTORIA SKATING GALA!"

The show will be at Oak Bay Recreation Centre as there is more seating at that arena. As your coach I will be organizing the show and need to know whether or not you would like to skate in the show.

Please complete this quick survey so that I can collect information about each of you and whether or not you would like to skate in the Gala.

Please note, if you do not plan on skating in the Gala please come support your fellow skaters! Participation in the show is not mandatory but it will be a lot of fun and a great experience for everyone.

** Each registered skater in the club will be responsible for selling a minimum of 5 tickets each. Once the tickets have been printed I will send out another email with ticket information. I will be giving each skater 5 tickets in a bag. The bag is to be returned to Michelle with the correct amount of money. We encourage each skater to try to sell more than 5 tickets but 5 is the minimum. Every member will be responsible for ticket sales (whether or not you plan on skating in the show). ALL proceeds will go to the UVic Figure Skating Club.**

Alison Gurney and Victoria Kolsut (executive) will be in charge of decorations for the show. If you are able to help Alison or Victoria with decorations your help will be greatly appreciated! Please check your email periodically for an email that will provide more information on decorations.

This show will be a lot of fun. I strongly encourage those of you who will be in Victoria to participate in the show. It is a great opportunity for everyone :)

SKATING GALA- Would you like to skate in the "UVic Figure Skating Club Gala" on Saturday, December 21st? The show will start at 9pm.

MUSIC- If you decide in the show, please send Michelle your top 5 music choices for your solo by October 11th. Michelle will review all of the music submitted and make the final music decision for your solo. This is to ensure that there is a wide variety of music in the show. Please keep in mind the show will be targeted towards university students so we want music that will keep the audience engaged so that they enjoy the show. Your first music choice will always try to be chosen.
