You are invited to participate in this survey regarding the proposed change to the criteria for institutions to gain Degree Awarding Powers and the use of the title University. In this survey, current Higher Education students will be asked to complete a survey that asks questions about their feeling regarding the choices they make and what effected these choice regarding degree course and institution. It will take approximately 10 minutes to complete the questionnaire.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions.

Have you formulated any views on the idea that if local colleges were to apply to be called universities or university colleges this could potentially create a situation where the market became flooded with providers of degrees
