The Institute of International Business (IIB) faculty is looking forward to receiving your input on a new Ph.D. Minor in International Business as part of your RCB PhD studies. Please note that under the new, revised Ph.D. curriculum, you are permitted to earn a minor without having to sit for additional courses. A minor is composed of three courses or 9 credit hours.

Ph.D. Minor in International Business is designed to:

1. Provide you with the opportunity to acquire formal training in international, comparative, and cross-cultural dimensions of business;
2. Pursue rigorous research on the international dimensions of your functional area; and
3. Enhance your marketability on the academic job market.

Starting with Fall 2009, the IIB Faculty will be offering three new doctoral seminars:

• IB 9910 Seminar in International Business Theory (3 cr) (TBA)
IB 9920 Cultural Frameworks and Cross-Cultural Behavior (3 cr) (SPRING 2010)
IB 9930 Seminar on the Multinational Enterprise (3 cr) (FALL 2009)
