3G is the third generation mobile communications technology. It is implemented to upgrade the performance of previous technologies particularly in wireless and multimedia communications. With higher data speeds up to 2 Mbps, 3G services are able to transfer rich contents and multimedia communications in the form of voice, images, data and video.
