2.This survey is about a new hair dryer concept. Below are several images of concepts for a new hair dryer. These new hair dryer concepts incorporate compactness and improved storage, assembly, and form. The goal of this survey is to discover the form that is most appealing to you, the user. Please try to concentrate on the form; the colors are for visualization aids only. There are three primary designs. Along with each design is one additional version without the retractable cord feature. These alternate versions will be more compact due to the elimination of the retractable cord mechanism. Imagine each hair dryer to be equipped with three heat settings, three speed settings, and a cold-shot button. Each hair dryer will output 1600 watts of heat and would dry your hair in the same amount of time as most current models. Additionally, each design will allow for accessories, such as a concentrator, to be easily attached or removed. In addition, each hair dryer will be wrapped in a silicon material to absorb the heat. This silicon material is currently being used in Japan to make potholders. The silicon material has a soft rubber-like texture similar to that of the buttons on a typical remote control. Finally, each hair dryer has been designed so that it can stand on either end when not in use.
