Dear respondent,



 



We are a group
of undergraduates from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), pursuing Bachelor
of Commerce (HONS) Accounting. As part of our Research Methodology & Project
course we are conducting a research survey on factors and reasons that will
affect the online user information searching strategies in Malaysia. The
objective of our survey is to identify factors that affecting online search
strategy and analyze ways of Malaysian Internet users conduct information search. The
past researchers have categorised online search strategies into several types
that are searching via search engine, direct to URL, advanced search feature,
shopping agent, etc.



 



The target respondents of this survey are the Internet users. Our
questionnaire is divided into two parts, Section A (The

factors that affecting online search strategy and analyze ways of Internet users
conduct information search) and Section
B (Respondents’ background). This survey consists of a set of 30 statements that
describe aspect on the factors that affecting online search strategy and ways of
Internet users conduct information search.
Your response will be treated as confidential and it will only be used for our
research purposes.
