The purpose of this applied research project is to redesign the existing web site of the Engineering Design Graphics Division (EDGD) of the American Society for Engineering Education by means of user-centered design and usability methods. The redesigned site will incorporate the needs of the EDGD through evaluative user questionnaires and the results will be integrated into the redesigned web site. Therefore, the evaluative questionnaires will serve as a mechanism for obtaining feedback regarding the current site including navigation, design and layout, speed, content, overall use and satisfaction. The new web site will incorporate best practices in web design, usability and user-centered design processes.
