By many readership studies and newspaper circulation trend it is evident that the pattern of readership and the loyalty towards the print media is changing. New media along with the television and radio is affecting the readership of print newspapers.
This study will attempt to a cross country comparison of India and United stated of America readership patterns and behavior and impact of the new media. Rationale behind the two countries is, United states of America being a developed country where the technology penetration is high and India being a transition economy where technology usage is in nascent stage.
