A dissertation report on Online Travel Purchase: Study of customer satisfaction through their buying process based on primary research work is underway. The report work attempts to study the elements in an online environment namely websites which causes satisfaction or dissatisfaction to customers as they go onto the Internet. Primary focus is on the customers of travel industry, which roam around the virtual market place to gather information and in some cases making purchases later on. As part of the study a questionnaire has been designed, which is targeted towards people who have experience in buying individual travel products such as a air ticket, hotel, rent a car etc., or in the form of a package e.g. holiday packages. The purpose is to identify the factors in the web based buying which mean more to the customer and provide them greater satisfaction in comparison to those elements which mean less.
