The purpose of this study is to examine the preparation of faculty for teaching online at institutions of higher education. This study will identify the faculty development approaches and activities that are provided at universities to assist in the preparation of faculty to teach online. This study will also identify the faculty development programs and activities in which faculty participate most frequently at institutions of higher education.
