Avian Influenza: Mitigation Strategies at the Local Level

History suggests it isn't a matter of if another bout of pandemic influenza will strike, it is "when." Successful or unsuccessful mitigation strategies at the local level will define whether the overall response is successful. This research project seeks to define best practices in local mitigation, and to uncover shortfalls and weaknesses in the planned response as it now stands.
