Weblog Effects on Social Interactions
Weblog is the newest and clearly one of the most influential computer mediated communication (CMC) tools. However, There are different descriptions of weblog depending on the context it is used. The most general description of Weblog, also known as blog reads as follows. A weblog is an informal online dairy with chronological entries that are typically short and often include personal opinions, news summaries, and links to other site. This rapidly growing communication tool is expected to have significant impact on the work life of the individual and organization. However, there is little research evidence as to the nature and extent of this impact. The goal of this study is to investigate the nature of Weblog impact on social capital and in turn on trust through using survey data.
