The Effect of Career Indecision on Academic Achievement Motivation Throughout the College Experience
The research seeks to evaluate the importance of career indecision factors on academic achievement motivation. Participants will be administered the Academic Motivation Scale (Vallerand, 1989, 1992) and a scale of career indecision (Germeijs, 2002). Participants will also be asked to disclose demographic information (age, year in college, GPA) for comparative purposes. Previous research suggests that intrinsic motivation is highly correlated to strong career decisiveness as well as better academic performance.
