This research aims at finding the connection between parental acceptance/rejection and adult organizational commitment. Parental acceptance/rejection has been shown to influence a hostility, self-esteem, locus of control and many other tendencies in adults. Researchers have not yet studied more subtle effects of parental acceptance. That is, clearly individuals who score very low in parental acceptance have difficulties but what about those individuals who indicate only moderately low levels of parental acceptance. This study aims to understand how parental acceptance overall influences overall organizational loyalty.
