Doctoral Dissertation

The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that motivate faculty to integrate service learning into their curriculum. Four research questions will be presented in this research: (a) who motivates faculty to include service learning in their courses, (b) what institutional support factors motivate faculty to include service learning in their courses, (c) what student learning outcomes motivate faculty to include service learning in their courses, and (d) what rewards motivate faculty to include service learning in their courses.
