Project Description

A Not-So-Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Mission Field: Factors Affecting Persistency of North American Missionary Recruits Among Wesleyan-Arminian Mission Agencies

Project Abstract

This study seeks to discern the factors affecting persistency among missionary recruits. If missionary recruits are unduly delayed in reaching the field or never reach the field, there is a frustration of purpose on various levels. With agencies seeking recruits, and recruits being available in the thousands, one has to wonder why the bottleneck in movement towards active service continues.
