Industry Interaction with Family Practice Residents

Since the 2001 AMA initiative on the ethical guidelines of physician to medical industry interactions, no significant study has examined the effect of these guidelines on residents who have existed under these guidelines for the entirety of their medical career. My objective is t evaluate the opinions of family medicine residents on the frequency of gifts, the appropriateness of gifts, and attitudes toward industry advertising in residency programs.
