As age expectancy increases and technological advances slow the aging process, there seems to be differences among how men and women perceive age. With a growing population of elderly, further investigation needs to be addressed in order to fight negative aging stereotypes. In this qualitative and quantitative study, men and women were interviewed. The findings of the study show differences in the way different gender perceives age. The information that was learned from this study reveals that age perception may reflect current trends that warrant further investigation.
