Project Description

Re-examination of Knowledge Management Framework

Project Abstract

In this research, the framework of the interrelated model of four KM Pillars will be looked at from the individual employees' perspective. In particular, the proposed study will examine the interaction of four pillars and its influence on employees' knowledge sharing.
We propose a questionnaire survey as the tool to examine:
1. What organizational factors influence employees' willingness to share their knowl-edge?

2. What usability of technology influences employees' willingness to share their knowl-edge?

3. What learning factors influence employees' willingness to share their knowledge?

4. What leadership support influences employees' willingness to share their knowledge?

where, the dependent variable of interest is the employees' willingness to knowledge share.
The contribution of this study may help organization to have a deeper understanding of knowl-edge sharing with empirical data based on employees' perspective rather than that of manage-ment.
