This research examines the theme of escape in a high-rise fire situation. Inadequacies of evacuation plans and fire-extinguishing equipments will be used to highlight the limits of current escape options (assumption),

Research is carried out in light of new technological advancements as well as emergence of fresh alternatives like life chutes and BASE jumping that are radical yet probably applicable/adaptable for use in high-rise fire emergencies.
