* We are currently undertaking a class project exploring the motivations of people involved in Masters swimming. Accordingly, we would appreciate your participation. The study is a requirement for the Introduction to Sport Psychology class at Boston University in which the principal researchers, Christina Ruggiero and Morgan Sawin, are currently enrolled. The supervising professor is Adam H. Naylor.

Participation involves two types of questions. The first 28 questions will ask you about your reasons for participating in your sport and how you feel when you are participating. The next 20 multiple choice questions will ask you to assess your behavior in various situations. It is anticipated that this survey will take 5 to 15 minutes.

Your participation in this study is voluntary and strictly anonymous. You may withdraw from the survey at any time. All data will be pooled and reported in cumulative form only. If you would like to find out the results of the study, have further questions about this study, or if wish to express a complaint or concern, you may contact the principal researchers or professors at the contact information below.
