Your expert opinion is important in shaping this research.
Having completed the literature review for an assessment of the sustainability of hotels in Kenya, I am writing to ask that you take a look at the factors which have emerged from the literature and contribute your expertise to rank the relative importance of these factors and suggest factors and indicators that you think have been omitted and should be included.

I am a Kenyan PhD researcher at the International Centre for Responsible Tourism at the University of Greenwich working on the triple bottom line sustainability of hotels in Kenya. In order to identify criteria and indicators for use in assessing the sustainability of hotels in Nairobi and Mombasa. I have undertaken an extensive literature review. The factors, which I have identified from the literature review, provide the basis of this survey.

The indicators presented have been selected from various reports published by the(WTO 1997, 1995 1993) and the UN (1996). I am undertaking this first Delphi round in order to secure the views of experts in this field. Your contribution as one of the few experts in this field is very important to the creation of an appropriate and robust assessment tool.

Responses to the questionnaire will be treated with confidentiality. As a contributing member of this expert group you will receive a copy of the outcome of the study.
