1. What is your level of experience with Web browser history interfaces? Select the choice that best describes your level. You may select more than one if you wish.

I don't know what web history is

I know about it, but never use it

I know about it and use it sometimes

I am very familiar with it and use it often

2. Now think back carefully, and for now, disregard your testing conclusions. When you first saw the isoBrowser interface, and watched the demo movie for the first time, did you experience any feeling that this interface could be fun to use?

Yes, it looked like fun to use

Yes, it mostly looked like fun, but I was unsure about a few things

I didn't really think of it as fun or not fun

It didn't look like much fun to me

I felt quite negative about the interface

3. Again, when you first saw the isoBrowser interface, and watched the demo movie for the first time, did you feel that you could see how this interface could work for you?

Yes, I had a good idea of how I could use it

I had a reasonable idea of how I could use it

I had an idea of how I could use some it, but not all of it

I had some difficulty seeing how I could use it

I could not see how I could use it

4. As you operated the isoBrowser interface, did the actions and methods of organising the web page files appeal to you?

Yes, the actions and methods of organising appealed to me

Neutral. Some of the methods appealed, but some didn't

No. I did not like the actions and methods of organising used.

5. What aspects appealed to you the most? (tick as many as you like)

Being able to drag page thumbnails around

Being able to group related pages into groups

Being able to draw lines connecting one group to another

The idea of the horizontal timeline

Being able to drag my pages off the strictly date-ordered timeline

The design and colours of the interface

6. When you used isoBrowser to retrieve the web page that had the cheapest iPod nano price, what best describes your experience?

The interface made it easy and natural for me to find the pages I was looking for

The interface mostly helped me to find the pages I was looking for, though not all the time

The interface didn't make much difference, I could have found the pages just as easily using the normal history list

The interface made it difficult for me to find the pages I wanted

7. The isoBrowser interface lets you position page thumbnails and groups anywhere in the space. This is known as spatial positioning. The benefit of this is that it is easier to retrieve an item if you can easily recall its position. Eg, "I left the Apple site pages near the right hand side". Do you agreee that spatial positioning helps you retrieve items?

I absolutely agree

I partially agree

I have no opinion on this

I partially disagree

I totally disagree

8. What other features would you like to see added to this interface? (tick as many as you wish. Add your own ideas in "other")

Pop up web site name labels

Folders, and the ability to move pages into them

Snap to grid

More control over the connecting lines

Ability to change colours, and use colour coding

Ability to add custom icons to the "page holders" (the square, triangle and circle)

Ability to put the pages back into their original chronoligical order on the timeline

More zooming options

I have no ideas, it is already good enough

9. If isoBrowser was a real product, do you think that you would use it?

Yes absolutely

Yes, once those extra features were implented

Sometimes, when I felt I needed that method of organising my browser history

Maybe just the once, for interest sake

No

10. What systems do you already use to organise your web browser history?

I don't use any systems

I just use the back button, that's all

I use the back button and the history list

I make tabs of any link I think I may need to return to. And if I forget to do this, I then use one of the above methods
