2007 Global Safety Trends   Hello: My name is Bill Bannister. My team & I are working with Sarah Sanders-Smith, a Professor at Purdue University. She is the Director - of Purdue North Central's Center for OSH and a published author in the American Society of Safety Engineers' (ASSE) "Professional Safety" Journal. The results of this survey were presented at ASSE's 2007 National Professional Development Conference in Orlando, Florida. Companies were asked to complete a survey about the safety training metrics most companies use. It takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete the questionnaire. Your participation in this study is completely voluntary. There are no foreseeable risks associated with this project. However, if you feel uncomfortable answering any questions, you can withdraw from the survey at any point. It is very important for us to learn your opinions so that we can provide shared learnings to a broad industry group. This study will be used by many companies as a benchmarking tool.
