James works for a marketing company and went on a business trip to London. Before leaving, his employer asked him how long the job would take. James, knowing he had only 4 days worth of work, told his company he needed a full week. While James did pay for all of his personal expenses incurred during the last 3 days of the trip, he did not reimburse his company for the extra $410 spent on his hotel room. Upon his return, James signed an expense report verifying that everything charged to the company was business related.
