Can I do surveys in any language?

Yes. We support full internationalization (i18n) -- Including Chinese, Japanese ie. Multibyte Character Set languages.

How do I go about creating mutiple surveys in different languages?

In our experience the best way to create and execute a multi-country survey is as follows:

• First create the Survey in English/Main Language
• Make copies of the Survey for all other languages
• Edit/Type the text for the Survey Questions and Answers for the each of the language Survey
• Create a "Qualifier" Survey - With a single question asking users to choose the language
• Use Survey Chaining to branch to the correct survey for each of the options in the Qualifier Survey(For more information on Chaining see link below)
• Data analysis can be done individually for each of the languages
• Aggregate analysis can be done easily by combining the frequency distributions in excel or using the "Combined Reports" functionality (See link below)

Note: Support for multilingual surveys is currently part of the Market Research Tool-Set and is only available as part of the Corporate License.

How to setup correct character encoding?

Goto:

• Login »  My Surveys »  (Select Survey) »  Survey Modes »  Multi-Lingual Options

• Select the appropriate language from the Language Encoding (charset) menu
• Be sure to Save Changes

What about the prompts? Required options, Validation messages?

When you select the correct survey mode (from the language drop down) the prompts will automatically be in that language.

Note: In some cases we do not have the translations for all the prompts : In such cases, please contact technical support and we'll add the prompts in for you.

Where can I change the Text "Questions marked with a * are required"?

You can add your Custom Message for Validation Prompts to be displayed on the Survey.

Can I disable/remove the Red asterisks that are displayed beside the questions that are required?

De-select the "Show Validation Message" check box and the asterisks will be removed.

The Buttons are still in English. Where can I change the Button Text?

You can change the Button Text under: Look and Feel >> Survey Layout
