We recently launched a beta for WiFi access via the giffgaff app. With the giffgaff app installed, you can go into the WiFi settings and turn on access to WiFi. This means you'll be able to access WiFi on the London Underground, with WiFi provided by Virgin Media, as well as around 8,000 hotspots around the UK provided by O2.
As this is new ground for giffgaff and our members, we’re really keen to give it a test-run first. It would be great to figure out what the experience is like, what works well, what doesn't. By piggy-backing on another service, some things are out of our control. However, with your help we can work to refine the bits that are.
