We invite interested LEPA members and Emergency Management Officials to submit proposals for presentation at the 2017 LEPA Conference. The annual conference will be held May 1-4, 2017 at the Golden Nugget in Lake Charles, LA.

Presentations should be prepared for a minimum of 60 minutes, including time for questions and answers.

Please submit your proposals no later than Friday January 20, 2017.

Proposals will be evaluated on the relevance to the theme of the conference, clarity, potential value to conference attendees, and speaker’s expertise and knowledge. You will be notified by Friday February 10, 2017 if your presentation has been accepted.

Unless special arrangements are made at the time of speaker agreements, LEPA does not reimburse speaker expenses. Workshop and session speakers who also plan to attend the conference activities are expected to pay a reduced registration fee. This includes pre-conference sessions and certification programs.
