04/04/20093589270Do electives as a series of 2-credit "quarters" (like the core curriculum)
04/04/20093589277Keep what we have
04/04/20093589278Increase the scope of some core courses (Finance, Operations) with an increase in 7 to 12 weeks.
04/04/20093589303More specialised electives for the weekends ( We pay, we should experience top class faculty as well)
04/04/20093589310Change more electives from 3-unit to 2-unit
04/05/20093589316decrease number of core courses
04/05/20093589321remove operations from the requiered courses

04/05/20093589575same
04/05/20093589592revamp the 5 unit 2nd half spring core schedule
04/05/20093589568I don't understand the question clearly
04/05/20093589614decrease number of core courses
04/05/20093589642The number of units right now is okay
04/05/20093589713Increase the number electives while decreasing the unit price to keep the total cost the same
04/05/20093589720current config is just fine
04/05/20093589903No change required
04/05/20093589933combine leadership/OB together and make communciations longer
04/05/20093589947keep the same requirements
04/05/20093589961EWMBA offers ONLY 8 electives - Other B-schools offer many more core subjects and electives
04/05/20093589977Keep them the same
04/05/20093590015combine OB with Leadership (make 1 class)
04/05/20093590038Keep it the same
04/06/20093590092Depends on the proposed changes
04/06/20093590110No changes
04/06/20093590370Option to take more full time classes
04/06/20093590559This question is poorly worded. Is there some back story about increasing the size of the core curriculum that I'm supposed to know about? How about a "no change" option or a "decrease core courses" choice?
04/06/20093590622Don't have an opinion.
04/06/20093590632Increase, but offer opportunity to take courses in non MBA areas
04/06/20093590656Have more 2 unit electives - some 3 unit electives fizzle in payoff after 10-12 classes
04/06/20093590808keep it as is
04/06/20093590918is there a plan to change the core curriculum?
04/06/20093590984Stay the same
04/06/20093590982no changes. Core is pretty extensive
04/06/20093590995Decrease the number of core units and increase the number of electives while keeping the number of units to graduate the same.
04/06/20093591033no change
04/06/20093591040decrease the number of core courses while incrase the number of electives
04/06/20093591134Streamline current core curriculum (e.g. combine micro/macroeconomics into one course)
04/06/20093591161Reduce number of Core courses
04/06/20093591250Basic Accounting and Macro should be prereqs, so we can focus on more advanced material since a good % of the class already has experience in these areas from undergrad.
04/06/20093591354no change
04/06/20093591368I can't accurately answer this question since I'm a first year student
04/06/20093591431Allow students to be able to take more than 8 elective courses if needed.
04/07/20093591926Combine Leadership/Communications into 1 class
04/07/20093591924Increase number of courses, keep tuition the same (make electives quarter-based)
04/07/20093591939keep same
04/07/20093591947Neither
04/07/20093592140instead of decreasing the electives you could let people graduate with option a, but allow them to take one more class if it suits their professional development. It might even be that they can take one executive ed class instead (for the same fees as the EVMBA program)
04/07/20093592205this question is not clear. is the proposal to increase the # of core credits?
04/07/20093592569same
04/08/20093593294keep the number the same and reduce some of the core class unit value (not reduce core classes themselves, but the number of units per core class)
04/08/20093593888I don't understand this question.
04/09/20093594569Keep it as-is
04/09/20093594994De-emphasize OB, and emphasize Leadership
04/09/20093595247dont understand the question
04/09/20093595311Keep the current curriculum
04/09/20093595297decrease number of core courses and increase electives
04/09/20093595317Require Leadership Communications once every year for all three years
04/10/20093595700No opinion.
04/10/20093595733dont increase core curriculum
04/10/20093595766Keep the number of core & elective units the same.
04/10/20093595830Increase electivesbut reduce credits per course
04/11/20093597001I would need to know what was being added to core before answering this question
04/12/20093598237decrease core & increase electives (keep same # to graduate)
04/13/20093599331create more 2 unit courses we can take more types of classes

04/13/20093599342see more strategy, real-estate and investment classes offered
04/13/20093599343No changes
04/13/20093599400Merge some like courses together possibly (there were multiple economics and leadership-related courses, for example)
04/13/20093599451none
04/13/20093599502reduce core - increase electives
04/13/20093599543Don't add to the core. Electives are better.
04/13/20093599602Reduce number of core required classes. Increase the number of electives
04/13/20093599631Increase the number of courses offered as electives while reducing the cores or allowing more cores to be waived through exams
04/13/20093599657combine some of the core courses like Organizational Behaviour, leadership communication and ethics. This will free up some more credits for electives
04/13/20093599675Neither
04/14/20093599717More experiential learning (Projects, simulations, exercises), Replace operations with strategy
04/14/20093599716less weight of core curriculum
04/14/20093600088Decrease the number of core courses and increases the number of units for some core courses
04/14/20093600155decrease the number of core courses by 1-2

04/14/20093601230Don't understand this question
04/14/20093601470make strategy a core course. Leadership/Ethics/Communications should be combined into 1 3 unit course
04/14/20093601475Keep it the same

04/14/20093601524keep it the same

04/14/20093601588increase number of electives we can choose from
04/14/20093601605make electives two units (10 weeks) and give more choices
04/14/20093601736Increase number of weekend electives. Keep units to graduate the same
04/14/20093601803fine as is
04/14/20093601874maybe allow a little more time in the core to teach more in depth
04/14/20093601929Allow a small amount of choice in core curriculum
04/14/20093602030no change in count of units, but better choice.
04/14/20093602292coudl consider increasing prereq's like basic micro, macro, and accounting so core can be more rigorous and st'dnt can do these on the cheap at a c-col. or similar, a) is Ok too
04/15/20093604725decrease core credits
04/15/20093605225Don't understand question.
04/15/20093605389Leadership and OB overlap. Spread out the core classes more.
04/15/20093605580Add a few more core credits (Strategy) and leave the rest the same
04/15/20093605772Time the soft courses with the quant courses better
04/15/20093605712no input presently
04/15/20093606423it's fine
04/15/20093607046Change structure of 1st year classes from core to electives with a minimum credits in pre-defined areas
04/15/20093607190more 2 unit electives
04/15/20093607375Current format is good
04/15/20093607500lower unit weighting on core classes (e.g., give finance more time and units and reduce operations)
04/15/20093607583give wider range of units needed to graduate so we can take more electives is we want
04/15/20093607636Keep the same # of graduation units requirements the same to minimize financial impact, but decrease the # of units assigned to core classes?

The bidding process for elective courses is currently designed to give priority to students in the order of seniority and cohort declaration. How does the current approach work for you?

04/05/20093589772I think that if you bid on a class, but don't get in, then you should automatically be placed on the waitlist, ranked in order of points originally bid, then by seniority or cohort. Basically, I think that someone who bid on the class should have higher priority on the waitlist than someone who didn't bid on the class but decided to add their name to the waitlist after the fact. It doesn't seem fair that someone who originally bid on the class doesn't get in, while someone who never bid on the class gets in just because they have higher seniority in the program.
04/05/20093589925The cohort declarations and associated penalty in bidding points makes no sense
04/05/20093589978Eliminate cohort declarations entirely!!!!!
04/09/20093595153force people to attend the first 2 classes to be guaranteed enrollment
04/14/20093600331for those in accelerated graduation, this process is very limiting

04/14/20093601459There is never enough time in class for a thorough evaluation. It seems like a rushed formality. Additionally, organization/display on the evaluation data is poorly organized. By course # only?!
04/14/20093601468We can see the evaluation rankings but cannot see the verbatims/comments which often provide the real insights into how the course was taught.
