SAC Muhammad Ali Abid Memorial Service Award 2024

The Muhammad Ali Abid Memorial Service Award was established in 2021 in loving memory of Muhammad Ali Abid, a member of the Southern Alberta Chapter (SAC) Executive and of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL). Ali, in and out of his workplace, was a passionate volunteer, community leader and innovator who gave of his time and tireless energy in the spirit of volunteerism to numerous charities, causes and individuals in Alberta communities and across Canada. Ali’s compassionate and caring nature and commitment to identifying innovative and creative opportunities for helping all those in need was an inspiration to those who knew him.  In Ali’s honor and memory, this yearly service award is presented to one (1) member of the healthcare leadership community in Canada who has demonstrated a passion and commitment for advocating, helping, and serving others through volunteer related activity in their community.
