Maui County Climate Vulnerability Community Survey

0%
The County of Maui Office of Climate Change, Resiliency, and Sustainability (CCRS) under the Office of the Mayor is spearheading the development of the County’s first Climate Action and Resilience Plan (CARP). The intent of this effort is to plan for and guide the implementation of measures to address both decarbonization (i.e. greenhouse gas emissions reduction) and resiliency (i.e. climate adaptation) across Maui County. CCRS has a number of resiliency and decarbonization planning efforts and pilot projects already underway that will complement the overall guidance and findings of the CARP.

This survey is intended to provide one of several opportunities for public input into the development of Maui County’s CARP. Additional opportunities for public input will include public workshops, follow-up surveys, focus groups, and CCRS engagement with a Climate Action and Resilience Plan Advisory Committee (CARPAC) made up of community representatives from across our County.

Thank you for your time and responses. The information collected in this survey will be used to inform a County-wide Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment. Your responses are critical to ensure that the concerns of the community are addressed.

This survey will take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete.
