MWEJN Small Grant Program RFI 2021

Dear grassroots leader,

On behalf of the Midwest Environmental Justice Network (MWEJN), we invite you to participate in our Request for Information (RFI) survey through this link below. This RFI process is the first step to identifying 15-20 organizations that will be asked to submit a full application for one-year grants of up to $20,000. Please submit your RFI by June 15 to be considered for a grant in the Fall of 2021.

We are using QuestionPro, an online free service, to collect responses.  It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete the questionnaire. You will be able to save your responses and return to the survey for later submission.

The Midwest Environmental Justice Network is a fiscally-sponsored project of the Minneapolis Foundation that focuses on building the capacity of frontline, grassroots organizations, including Indigenous-led and tribal initiatives, to lead the movement for Environmental Justice (EJ) related to water, air, food, health, energy and climate change. You can read more about us at www.mwejn.org

Information from this RFI will help MWEJN gain a better understanding of the EJ priorities and challenges. All contact information and project details will be kept strictly confidential, but aggregated responses will be shared back with you in a regional report of EJ needs and priorities in the Midwest. If you have questions at any time about the survey or the procedures, you may contact Jumana Vasi by email at jvasi@mwejn.org.

Thank you for taking the time to submit an RFI form on behalf of your group. We look forward to learning about all the amazing EJ work that is happening in the Midwest
Warmly,
Debra Taylor, MWEJN Leadership Team
Kim Wasserman, MWEJN Leadership Team
