We are excited to announce that we are hosting Building Innovative Connections for Transfer Education, a week of virtual events for National Transfer Week, October 17–21, 2022. The schedule of events and registration information is forthcoming, and we are now accepting session proposals from ASU’s transfer partners through September 9, 2022.
Session selection will be based on the following criteria:
• Relevance to the event theme — Building Innovative Connections for Transfer Education
• Content supports transfer students and those who serve them
• Clarity of proposal
• Reflects current trending topics and best practices
Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:
ASU and your institution's transfer partnership successes; best practices to support successful transfer with programs such as MyPath2ASU™; innovative ideas and solutions to address transfer issues; transfer data and metrics; technical tools; creative solutions for pandemic related challenges; and social and academic support for transfer students.
Sessions will be 50 minutes long, including time for Q&A. Session times and dates (within the week of October 17–21) will be determined following the selection process.
We look forward to this collaborative event, which will be available to higher education professionals across the nation. We encourage you to join us to share your best transfer practices and innovations as presenters.
