John Sullivan is a successful attorney and a Navy vet, who has served on the Mukilteo City Council for four years. Together with his wife, John lives in Mukilteo, and believes that what Mukilteo needs is a trusted leader with real experience.

Marko Liias is a 24 year old business owner, who is focused on tackling tough issues, like traffic and stopping Paine Field expansion, while working hard to provide a livable community with parks, more jobs, and an accessible waterfront.

John Sullivan is a typical politician. He was appointed to office in 2001, and has never won in a competitive race. He does not listen to citizen input, and think that he knows best. John Sullivan represents more of the same, not something new.

Marko Liias is young and inexperienced. He has never held elective office, and does not understand the complex issues Mukilteo faces. He would not be the best choice for an important position like City Council.
