Public Private Partnerships in Central and Eastern Europe
This research aims firstly at analysing the pattern in which public-private partnerships are used in Central and Eastern Europe to provide infrastructure in line with the growth of their economies and secondly if the often stated benefits of such partnerships are equally available to these markets as to the UK, where this form of procurement has a much longer history.
The study will also address the facts that public private partnerships are neither in general the better way of procurement, nor that all benefits are always available in the UK.
